Independent Unreal Engine tools

Small, focused tools
for the Unreal Editor.

Sidewalk Studio is a small independent studio that builds editor tools for Unreal Engine. Each tool does one job well, runs inside the editor, and keeps your project on your machine.

  • Unreal Engine 5.6, 5.7, 5.8
  • Windows and macOS editors
  • Editor-only
  • No network calls

Tools

Built for developers who work with AI coding agents

Unreal assets are binary, so an agent in your repository sees file names, not logic. Our tools turn Blueprints, levels and data into plain text that any agent, script or teammate can read.

Project Context Export

Exports your whole Unreal project as Markdown and JSON: Blueprints as pseudo-code in execution order, levels, data tables, data assets, materials, UMG widgets, project settings and the asset dependency graph. Keeps it updated when you save and runs from the command line.

Asset to Text

Right-click a Blueprint or Data Table in the Content Browser and choose Copy as Text. The asset is on your clipboard as Markdown, ready to paste into a chat or a terminal coding agent.

How we build

Quiet tools that stay out of your way

Editor-only

C++ editor modules. Nothing is added to your packaged game and there is no runtime cost.

Nothing leaves your machine

No network calls, no accounts, no telemetry and no AI service. Your project stays on your computer.

Read-only

Our tools read your project and write text next to it. They never modify your assets.

Plain, open output

Markdown and JSON with no tool-specific format, readable by people, scripts and AI coding agents alike.
